Our students will have the opportunity to take part in a three-week work placement in Spain.

We are delighted to share the news that the Erasmus+ application submitted by the Biatorbágyi Innovatív Technikum és Gimnázium (BIT) has been awarded funding under the category of vocational education and training mobility projects. Thanks to the project “Opening Up to Europe – A New School, New Paths”, our students will have the opportunity to gain international professional experience in Spain.

One of the key elements of the project is that 26 of our technical school students will take part in a three-week work placement in Spain, where they will work in real-life professional environments with the support of workplace mentors. Students studying IT, logistics, and finance and accounting will have the opportunity to develop their knowledge and skills in an international setting.

During their placements, students will gain practical experience at companies in Spain. IT students will work at IT companies, logistics students will be placed in logistics centres, while students specializing in finance and accounting will gain insight into everyday work processes in financial and accounting environments.

The programme will provide much more than professional development. It will also give students the opportunity to improve their foreign language skills, strengthen their independence and discover a different culture. One of the greatest benefits of Erasmus+ mobility programmes is that students gain experiences that can enhance their employability in the long term and support them in building purposeful career paths.

We are particularly proud that, as a young institution, BIT is already able to offer its students such a significant international opportunity. The project represents an important milestone in developing BIT’s international partnerships and contributes to our goal of equipping students with competitive, practical knowledge and skills as they enter the world of work.

The participants were selected through an internal application process, which was completed at the end of the school year. We will regularly share updates about the project, including preparations for the mobility programme and the students’ experiences, on our website and social media channels.
