RoboCity Camps Successfully Completed

This summer, we once again successfully hosted our RoboCity day camps, welcoming students aged 10–14 who are interested in robotics and digital technologies across two camp sessions.

Throughout the camps, participants explored the technologies of the future in a playful, creative and hands-on environment. The week focused on the world of smart cities, where students discovered how robots can make our everyday lives easier. They designed and programmed autonomous robots and tackled real-world problems through a variety of exciting challenges.

During the sessions, campers had the opportunity to work with LEGO SPIKE Prime robots and micro devices, learn the basics of 3D design and printing, and explore some of the latest applications of artificial intelligence. Along the way, they also developed their algorithmic thinking, problem-solving skills and creativity — often without even realizing they were learning.

Of course, there was plenty of time for physical activity as well. The digital workshops were complemented by sports programmes, allowing the children to stay active and make use of BIT’s sports facilities throughout the week.

At the end of the camp, participants proudly presented their completed projects to their parents, who had the opportunity to see first-hand just how much knowledge and experience their children had gained in a single week.

Thank you to all our participants for their enthusiasm and hard work, and to the parents for their trust! We hope to see you all again at RoboCity next summer!
