With the support of researchers from HUN-REN SZTAKI, our students learned the fundamentals of artificial intelligence. At the end of the three-day workshop, every team presented working solutions.
At BIT, we organize project days every school year with the aim of helping students develop their skills beyond the traditional classroom framework, especially in the areas of problem-solving, creative thinking, cooperation, communication, and digital competence. During the project days, students work on real-life problems through practical tasks, which supports project-based learning and the development of independent thinking.
AI Algorithms and Vibe Coding
During the 2026 project days, researchers Ákos Bokor and István Knáb from the Systems and Control Theory Research Laboratory of HUN-REN SZTAKI held a workshop for our students. During the two-day program, they introduced the fundamentals of modern artificial intelligence methods and AI algorithms, and also led practical sessions together with the students.
Our students also had the opportunity to try out a quadruped robot. In the practical sessions, they learned how to use modern AI models and were introduced to the basics of so-called vibe coding (AI-assisted programming).
Working both in teams and individually, the students developed their ideas, which they presented at HUN-REN SZTAKI at the end of the workshop. Every team returned with a great idea and, without exception, successful results.
